"So much of the media wants to be first to report what we are going to be told tomorrow. I want to know what we'd never be told." Cat Neilan has been a political journalist since 2014, and has been based in the UK's Parliament for the last six years, working for titles including the Daily Telegraph and CityAM. Before that she was a business journalist, covering sectors including retail, publishing and the TV industry. She is a senior fellow at the Alfred Landecker Foundation and was for many years a trustee for homeless magazine The Pavement.
