Before that she was a reporter and assistant editor at Tortoise, and was previously the Economist’s Nico Colchester Fellow, reporting on European affairs from Brussels. Her work on areas including politics, culture and human rights has appeared in the Times, the Atlantic, the New Statesman and elsewhere.
